Why Work With Us

Services by Role

What We Do

Building Pathology and Root-Cause Diagnosis
We conduct surveys using building pathology methodology to identify whether damp originates from penetrating moisture, rising damp, or condensation. Our surveyors use moisture meters, thermal imaging, and ventilation flow testing to verify findings. Where needed, we conduct borescope inspections and fabric sampling to confirm diagnosis. Survey outputs include cause statements with photographic evidence, moisture readings, and condition ratings aligned to HHSRS Category 1 hazard assessment.
Housing Directors and Compliance Leads
We provide assurance that damp and mould cases receive independent diagnosis in accordance with statutory requirements. Our survey reports are quality-assured and provide clear findings that support your compliance with HHSRS, Homes Act, and Awaab’s Law requirements. Survey findings help identify where recurring damp issues may indicate underlying building fabric or ventilation problems that require attention.
1. Damp and Mould Survey

We conduct on-site building pathology surveys including visual inspection of building fabric, services, and ventilation systems. Surveys include moisture content readings using meters and thermal imaging to identify cold bridges and insulation defects. We measure ventilation extract rates against current building regulations. Survey outputs include cause statements, photographic records with annotations, moisture readings, and condition ratings for affected elements. Each report provides a prioritized action plan with scope of works, cost estimates where requested, and allocation of responsibilities between landlord, contractor, and resident

FAQs

What standards do your surveys follow?
Our surveys align to the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, and current building regulations for moisture control and ventilation. For social landlords, our processes support compliance with Awaab’s Law guidance on damp and mould. We adapt survey scope and reporting to meet client-specific requirements while maintaining alignment with these baseline standards.
